During the production of refined oils, high temperature is used, which destroys Vitamin E and beta carotene. Cold-pressed oils retain the healthy and nutritional qualities of oilseeds. 

Vitamin E has healing & anti-inflammatory properties. Wood-pressing retains the natural, healthy antioxidants, which is otherwise destroyed by heat.
